Anja’s mother and grandmother used to make natural face creams on a small scale, for their own personal use. She was always inspire by them and decided to create uniquely African skincare products. Skin began producing hard soaps from goat milk, then sugar scrubs and the range continued to grow and grow.
They were able to identified a gap in the market and began producing for lodges - providing locally produced skin products rather than importing from outside of the country. In 2013 they opened a spa that exclusively uses their own products.
