After closing her initial craft project when she moved to Australia, founder Nicky returned to Zambia to pick up where she left off. She started experimenting with production in 2013 but formalized and launched Intertwined in 2019.
Intertwined works with widows and those who are looking for a sustainable income. Each woman has a story and Intertwined helps them to communicate it through each product they produce.
The focus of Intertwined is to enable and empower the women to use their talents and provide them with a regular income to sustain themselves.
